AXA Achievement Community Scholarship February Students should be well rounded, determined to succeed and have demonstrated achievement – at a job, sport or extracurricular activity.  For students with that extra element of grit and determination.


California State PTA February Scholarship focuses on volunteer or community service. Must be a California resident and member of PTSA.


Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship for First Years February For females only and will be based on the strength of academic background, passion for computer science, community service and leadership.  Student must plan to major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related program. 

 
Junior Achievement – Joe Francomano Scholarship February For students who have been involved in Junior Achievement programs.

Ronald McDonald/African American Future Achievers Scholarship Program February For African/American students based on academic achievement, community involvement, career goals and desire to contribute to their community.


Ronald McDonald/Asia Scholarship Program February For Asian students based on academic achievement, community involvement, career goals and desire to contribute to their community.


Ronald McDonald/HACER  February For Hispanic-American students based on academic achievement, financial need and recommendations.


Schwab-Rosenhouse Memorial Scholarships February Scholarships for 4 year, 2 year or Voc/Tech schools located within 100 miles of Sacramento. 


Metro PCS Community Scholars Program February They are looking for students who have demonstrated exceptional involvement in volunteerism and community service along with academics. 3.0 GPA  


PG&E Women’s Network Employee Resource Group Scholarship March For students planning to pursue degrees or careers in fields where PG&E has an interest, such as the engineering, information technology (I.e. Computer science, MIS, etc), business, environmental or other major related to the energy field. 3.0 GPA. Student  has demonstrated leadership through active involvement in community organizations, academic or vocational activities or student organizations. 


2001 Beverage Industry Christermon Foundation+A1:C202 February Parent or Grandparent is employed full time with a company or individual holding a valid California liquor/beer/wine license. Must attend a 4 year Univ.  


American Foreign Service Association February For students who are dependants of an active or retired member of AFSA.  


Courageous Persuaders  February Create a commercial warning middle school students about the dangers of underage drinking and win scholarship money!  



Zeta Phi Beta Sorority February For university-bound, female high school senior who exemplifies principles of sorority: Sisterly love, Service, Scholarship and Finer Womanhood. 


AFA Teens for Alzheimers Awareness scholarship February The scholarship is an opportunity for students to give thoughtful consideration to the impact Alzheimer’s disease has on their own lives and others in their family and community. 


Samahan (Filipino) Employee Resource Group Scholarship February Open to students of all ethnicities. 3.50 GPA, active participant and/or leader in school and the community.  


Banatao Filipino American February Must have Filipino heritage (at least 50%), Plan to major in engineering, computer or applied sciences at a 4 year college or university.  3.0 GPA , Financial need.  



California Masonic Foundation February Must be a U.S. citizen and current legal resident of California for at least one year. 3.0 GPA.  Financial need.   


FFA Collegiate Scholarship Program February Must be a US Citizen, and current FFA member. 


National FFA Organization Scholarships February Miscellaneous FFA Scholarships.  Applicant must be a current FFA member.  


PG&E Latino Employee Resource Group Scholarship February Open to students of all ethnicities.  Based on GPA, letters of recommendation and essay. 


Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship February For students who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities. Vegetarians do not eat meat, fish, or fowl.  Applicants will be judged on having shown compassion, courage, and a strong commitment to promoting a peaceful world through a vegetarian diet/lifestyle. 


CORE’s Que Llueva Café Scholarship February The scholarship is open to undocumented students of Chicano/Latino descent.  


Soroptimist International of Sacramento February 3.0 GPA, financial need, personal statement. 


Active 20-30 Club of Sacramento #1032 Community Service Scholarship February For high school senior women.  3.0 GPA, community service/volunteer experience/ career goals and an essay discussing that experience or goals



PG&E InspirAsian Employee Resource Group Scholarship February Students of all ethnicities may apply.  3.50 GPA, SAT of 1500 or comparable ACT score, active in either community organizations, academic or vocational activities, or leadership roles. 



Active 20-30 Club of  February Based on academic ability, leadership, community involvement, financial need, and achievement in their designated field of Athletics, Community Service, Fine Arts, Liberal Arts, Mathematics and Science. 


Jackie Robinson Scholarship February Student must be a graduating senior with plans to attend an accredited four-year institution. Student must demonstrate leadership, financial need and have a combined score of 1,000 on the math and critical reading portion of the SAT or ACT score of 21. 


California Teachers Assoc February Must be in conjunction with CTA member teacher.  Essay or Visual Arts categories.  


Soroptimist Youth Citizenship Awards February Service, dependability, leadership, clear sense of purpose, letters of reference. 


American Chemical Society Scholars Program March For African American, Hispanic/Latino or American Indian students. 3.0 GPA and financial need.  For students interested in pursuing a 4 year degree in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, materials science and environmental science. 


American Welding Society District Scholarships March Student must plan to be enrolled in a welding-related educational or training program.  


California Farm Bureau March For students planning on attending a 4-year college or university in California and pursuing a career in the agricultural industry.  


Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation March For students who are a child of a Marine.  2.0 GPA with financial need.

Sacramento Japanese American Citizens League March For students who have been active JACL member and plan on enrolling fulltime in a college, university, trade school, business school or any other institution of higher learning.


County of Sacramento, Department of Human Assistance March A resident of Sacramento County, graduating high school senior, entering 2 or 4 year college/vocational school, 2.5 GPA, U.S. citizen or legal resident, low income.  


Careers in Agriculture Scholarship Program March For students interested in livestock or agronomy-related studies. Students must be planning to enroll in a two- or four-year livestock or agronomy-related curriculum, demonstrate leadership and academic performance and essay required on interest in an agricultural career. 



Sacramento PC Users Group Scholarship March 500 word essay required describing an accomplishment in which your use of a computer-based technology played a significant role, your education plans and what you plan to accomplish in the future.  Enrollment in a computer-related field is not required. 


Sacramento Tall Club March For tall students – 5’10” for women and 6’ 2” for men.   


Sacramento County Dept of Human Assistance March For students on public assistance or low income. Must have a 2.5 GPA or above, Must be a US citizen or legal resident. 2 letters of rec, an official transcript, essay over 500 words, plus proof of enrollment or of application to college. 


Scottish Rite of Freemasonry – Ancient & Accepted March For students interested in fields associated with service to country and generally perceived as benefiting the human race.   Applicants must show dedication, ambition, academic preparation and promise of understanding performance at the advanced level.  Masonry background is also required



SAFE Credit Union March Based on academic achievement, financial need and activities/community involvement. 3.0 GPA    


Cabrillo Civic Club March For students of Portuguese descent.  3.50 GPA.  Must have participated in at least 3 extra-curricular activities while in school.  


California Association of Nurserymen March For students who are interested in pursuing an education and career in ornamental horticulture, agribusiness, viticulture or pomology. 


Italian Catholic Federation March Either Catholic of Italian descent with a 3.2 GPA or Parent or grandparent is a member of the Italian Catholic Federation. Scholarship will be based on Scholastic achievement, financial need, leadership role, recommendations, and extracurricular activities. 


Grand Chapter of California Order of the Eastern Star March 3.0 GPA.  Applicant must be a citizen of the U.S.  Based on academics, financial need, and character. 


California State Fair, Friends of March 3.0 GPA , community college or 4-year college/university. 32 different scholarships available:  top 10% of class; planning an International Studies major; PE, agriculture, or equine studies; “Arts” program major; African American; Pacific Islander;  


San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival March For students of Japanese-American descent.  2.5 GPA.   Awarded on the basis of the students commitment to their community.  Written 200-500 word essay required.  


Blue Diamond Growers Foundation Scholarship March For students who planning to major in plant sciences, agricultural engineering, agricultural economics or subjects with relevance to almond production.  3.3 GPA.  


California State Pipe Trades March Must be a child of a current member or retiree, in good standing, of a Pipe Trades Local Union affiliated with the California State Pipe Trades Council.  


League of United Latin American Citizens(LULAC) March For Hispanic students.  Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.  For  use at either a 4-year or 2-year college or university.  


Lulac National Scholarship Fund March For Hispanic students  


National Federation of Independent Business Free Enterprise Scholars Award March For the student who has demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and initiative. Applicants must be nominated by a dues-paying member of NFIB.  Based on academics, test scores, & GPA.  


Tzu Chi Scholars March Financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement.  


QuestBridge (for Seniors) March Leading colleges are seeking to enroll high-achieving low-income students. If you are an outstanding student who has overcome economic challenges, you have a chance to attend a top-tier college on a full scholarship.  


Hispanic Scholarship Fund March For students of Hispanic heritage, U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident, 3.0 GPA, planning to attend college full-time  


The Buck Scholars  March Several sophomores are selected to receive one-on-one mentoring with a Buck Scholar, funding for SAT/ACT prep as well as other educational resources, funding for summer enrichment opportunities between their junior and senior years, academic and career guidance to help with college applications, college essay workshops, and access to a network of 250+ professionals in fields such as medicine, law, education, technology, and the arts
