SPEECH REQUIREMENT


Students can meet this requirement by taking and completing public speaking OR by presenting a speech in one of their classes (including Advocacy). Students need to notify their teacher ahead of time that they want the speech/presentation to be graded for speech proficiency. Please see speech rubric below for more information.

A-G REQUIREMENTS


The following link lists the 15 college preparatory courses that must be completed by the end of 12th grade to be eligible for admission to University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) campuses.

- 11 courses must be completed prior to senior year

- Colleges and Universities will use a grade of 'C' or better. If you earned a 'D' or 'F' in any of these subjects, you may want to consider repeating them. Please see your counselor for more information.

CREDIT RECOVERY


If students need to retake courses to meet graduation requirements or meet A-G Requirements, they should sign up for APEX Learning and/or Summer School.

- APEX Learning is available for credit recovery for the following subject: Math, English, and Social Studies. Please contact your counselor to find out more about APEX. Seniors who need to take APEX for credit recovery or grade improvement are given priority registration.
