Seniors, if you still need to pick up your prepaid yearbook senior supplement, the main office will be open on the following days from 7:30 AM -12:30 PM:

*If you cannot make it, your friends can pick up your supplement.

 

We have a limited number of supplements available for $10 each, cash only.

Lifeguard Academy - June 2, 2017 Deadline

City of Sacramento Parks and Recreation Department is seeking lifeguards to work at one of the City’s 17 community pools. More than 80 lifeguard positions are still needed for the 2017 summer season. Individuals at least 16 years of age, currently certified, or meet the lifeguard course (see prerequisites link below) are encouraged to apply. This is not an Elk Grove Unified School District Sponsored program and EGUSD accepts no liability or responsibility for this program/activity.

June 3, 2017 and throughout the summer: Sacramento Summer Night Lights (SSNL) Program
This program is designed to provide a fun and safe environment for local families to gather and get to know their neighbors. The SSNL program provides FREE entertainment, workshops, activities, food and more for people of all ages to enjoy. 7:00 pm -11:30 pm at 7833 Center Pkwy, Sacramento, CA. This is not an Elk Grove Unified School District Sponsored program and EGUSD accepts no liability or responsibility for this program/activity.

2017 Young Assemblymembers Program - June 9, 2017 Deadline

A four-week long program open to 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students entering the 2017-2018 school year. The program is designed to develop skills in leadership, team-building and problem-solving, and to understand the importance of civic participation and the legislative process. Must be available July 11 to August 3.

Frederick M. Roberts Scholarship - June 9, 2017 Deadline

The California Legislative Black Caucus (CLBC) Scholarship Program was established to assist deserving students by offering financial assistance to help meet educational expenses. This is not an Elk Grove Unified School District Sponsored program and EGUSD accepts no liability or responsibility for this program/activity.

June 10, 2017: 5th Annual Spotlight at the Ranch, Barbecue & Country Bands
A day of family fun, food and entertainment hosted by the Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation. Event will be held at William Mosher Ranch (10161 Grantline Road, Elk Grove) from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. FREE for kids under 12 years old. This is not an Elk Grove Unified School District Sponsored program and EGUSD accepts no liability or responsibility for this program/activity.

After School Kids Art Workshop at the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center

The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center brings the community and artists together in a number of ways, through workshops, classes, studio time and a vast selection of work from local artists. View works created in a variety of mediums, then put your own skills to the test with a hands-on experience at the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center! This is not an Elk Grove Unified School District Sponsored program and EGUSD accepts no liability or responsibility for this program/activity.

Community Services Division (CSD) Summer Day Camps!

Summer Day Camp begins soon! Students have the opportunity to beat summer boredom and meet new friends. There are camps for elementary ages, teens, and those who want to focus on sports. They can sign up for weekly sessions all summer long. Parents should call the registration desk at (916) 405-5600. August 3 & 4, 2017: OCA National Convention Youth Track - Save the Date!

A two-day track for middle & high school aged students to learn about advocacy, leadership, and identity. Free to attend and includes breakfast and a boxed lunch. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm at the at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento (1230 J St, Sacramento, CA 95814). This is not an Elk Grove Unified School District Sponsored program and EGUSD accepts no liability or responsibility for this program/activity. 

October 1, 2017: 5th Annual Feria de Educación

This year’s Feria will be held on the first day students can fill out a FAFSA application, and will be an especially important draw for students and parents. This is not an Elk Grove Unified School District Sponsored program and EGUSD accepts no liability or responsibility for this program/activity.

Latin Dance Boot Camp in June at MTHS

Latin Dance Boot Camp

Come to Latin Dance Boot Camp on 3 afternoons in June! Learn Merengue on Wednesday, June 7, Salsa on Wednesday, June 14, and Bachata on Wednesday, June 21 with guest instructors. Classes will run from 12:30-3:30 with food, games and of course Latin music. Sign up in Student Services this week to reserve your spot.
